About Our Dental Practice
Founded in 1945 by Dr. Paul Zonies, and with the addition of Dr Ralph J. Zonies in 1981, Zonies-Holgado Dental Associates, PA was formed in 1995 and is anchored by over 65 years of caring, family experience. Throughout that time, we’ve assembled a staff of dental assistants and hygienists that personable, warm and highly skilled. Understandably we promote a close bond with our staff and we’d enjoy adding you to the Zonies-Holgado “family.”
Our Cosmetic Dentists
Ralph J. Zonies DMD
Dr. Zonies has been serving the dental needs of the Southern NJ area for over 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (Physics) in 1977 from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1981 from Temple University School of Dentistry. In 1981 he joined his father, Dr. Paul Zonies, in a joint effort to provide quality dental care to the residents of the Pennsauken-Cherry Hill area. Committed to on-going continuing education that exceeds more than 75 hours per year, Dr. Zonies is an expert in high tech dentistry including the new CEREC 3D computer system, digital radiography, Invisalign orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, diode laser and dental imaging. Dr. Zonies has completed over 260 hours of continuing education in the surgical placement and restoration of NobelBiocare, Astra and other systems of dental implants including a mini-residency at the NobelBiocare teaching facility in Mahwah, NJ. Dr. Zonies is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Implant dentistry, tooth whitening and cosmetic bonding including porcelain veneers and full mouth reconstruction are all services that he expertly and enthusiatically provides. Dr. Zonies is currently a clinical instructor in restorative dentistry at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Zonies enjoys photography, golf and travel.
Dr. Marco Holgado
Dr. Holgado has been with our practice for over 21 years. He was also a graduate of Rutgers University after which he pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Georgetown University which he received in 1989. Dr. Holgado graduated from Georgetown Dental School as a member of the OKU [Omicron Kappa Upsilon] dental honor society. Dr. Holgado then participated in a general practice residency at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. His dedication to quality care and constant participation in continuing education courses maintains his ability to deliver the best possible care to his patients. He is also a highly trained clinician on the exciting new CEREC system and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Holgado is also trained in the placement of Lumineers, the new, exciting and painless way to achieve a perfect smile and Invisalign or clear braces. In addition to spending as much time with his wife and 3 children, Dr. Holgado also enjoys golf, fishing and automobiles.
Dr Theodore Wooley
Dr. Ted Wooley was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. After graduating from Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Rowan University. He is a graduate of The Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he received the Dr. Anthony Campanella award; this award is given to a student that excelled in General Dentistry. Voted by South Jersey Magazine Top Dentist for 2011. Dr Wooley is Invisalign certified and is a member of the South Jersey Dental Study Club. The study club and continuing education courses are the key to maintaining the knowledge needed to provide exceptional care for his patients. Dr Ted, in his spare time, enjoys travel, golf, cooking and is an avid football fan. Especially the EAGLES! Dr Wooley is excited to join the family here at Zonies-Holgado Dental Associates. We are so pleased and proud to have him as part of our great team.

My name is Mary Lynne, and I have been a patient coordinator here at Zonies-Holgado Dental for over 14 years. I became interested in working in the dental field many years ago when I needed treatment for a broken tooth. I found myself asking many questions and becoming very interested. I was then hired to train as a dental assistant. It was so interesting!!! I was now doing something I totally enjoyed, plus it gave me the opportunity to meet so many great people. At Zonies-Holgado, I have that same opportunity of meeting and working with so many wonderful people. I couldn't ask for a better career!

My name is Jane and I came to Zonies-Holgado Dental in early 2010. My career in the dental field began as a chairside assistant. With over 15 years of dental experience at the chair and the front desk it is good to be back . My name is Lauren and I am the newest addition to the Zonies-Holgado dental team. As a child experiencing years of orthodontics, the dental chair became my second home. As an adult, it only seemed natural to become a dental hygienist. I graduated from Camden County College with an Associates in Applied Science and have been practicing dental hygiene since 2006. Since graduation I've searched for a practice that shares my values, ethics and joy of dentistry. I believe I have found that office! I am happy to be working in an office that values its patients so highly and keeps them top-priority. I understand how important it is to create good preventative programs to prevent dental problems in the future. My career is my passion and I am fully dedicated to achieving and maintaining optimal oral health for all of my patients.

Within a year of graduation from Camden County Community College, school of Dental Hygiene in 1979, I began working for Dr. Paul Zonies, Dr. Ralph Zonies' father. Working in this office is like working in no other. It is truly my second family. The concern and compassion that is shown to each patient is one of the reasons I feel so comfortable here. This comes second to the doctors' knowledge and state of the art techniques used in the practice. I'm glad to be apart of the Zonies-Holgado dental family. Hello, my name is Carla, and I am one of three dental assistants at Zonies-Holgado Dental Associates. While attending Camden County College for Dental Assisting I visited the office for an internship and I immediately knew that was the office where I wanted to begin my career as an RDA. After graduation I joined the Zonies-Holgado team and have been working here for three years. One of the main factors that sets our office apart from others is the expanding use of modern technology, this is what really made me interested in working here. I also knew this was the right office for me because not only do the doctors, but the entire staff show a sincere compassion for each patient and also one another. I look forward to furthering my career with Dr. Zonies and Dr. Holgado and continue to expand my knowledge in the dental field.

Hello, my name is Andrea, I first started with Zonies-Holgado Dental Associates in 1998 as a patient. I then started working with this great group of people in 2001 in a receptionist position. They have become an extension of my family. I was inspired to go back to school for dental assisting at Camden County College after which I took on more responsibilities with the practice as a treatment coordinator. We have the latest technology and continue to learn and grow so we can provide our patients with the best treatment possible. Hi, my name is Dana and I am a dental assistant at Zonies-Holgado Dental Associates. When I was younger, I never imagined having a career in the dental field. After speaking with friends and family members who work in various parts of dentistry, it soon became a career I knew I'd enjoy. I graduated the dental assisting program at Camden County College in 2002 as a certified and registered dental assistant and I've been a part of Dr. Zonies' and Dr. Holgado's dental team ever since. I work hard at treating each of my patients individually and at making their visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible. It's hard to believe that I've worked here for 10 years already, but I've enjoyed every moment. I can honestly say the people I work with have become my second family.
